Environmentally friendly compressed firelogs. Not all Firelogs are the same! We appreciate these specific firelogs from Home Fire because they last a longtime, burn hot, retain a good coal base and smell good! Clean wood waste goes into each Home Fire Prest Log, and compressed firelogs do not pop or crack like cord wood in the fire. 

For chimineas, we often break the logs into smaller pieces (not always but usually). Ask us to split them up for you. 

Enjoy the warmth and enjoyment of a fire without the hassle of smoke. Burning clean, dry & seasoned wood is the way to go, and this wood is perfect for your Baja Chiminea!  

Why burn hardwood or firelogs? Hardwood will burn slower and last longer than softwoods. It burns more consistently as well; Softwood will burn really hot & real fast then die down to nothing in a short time, leaving little-to-no coals behind; While hardwood will keep a good coal base, making it easy to add more wood to your fire and allowing your fire to burn smoke-free through-out the evening. Hardwood is less likely to "pop and burst" than softwood.
